Studios

Although famed for its locations, Thailand is very well equipped with several complexes of world class studios as well some budget ones. Many of the newer studios have excellent make-up and dressing room areas as well as production offices and first class catering.

One other reason for doing your studio shoot here is that the low cost of labour means that set construction and art department costs are likely to be significantly lower when compared to shooting elsewhere, while the quality remains as high or higher. There are several sound stages of 30m x 40m as well as many smaller ones.

While for a commercial its unlikely to be worth coming here just to shoot on a stage (as the cost of flights and accommodation will probably outweigh the saving), if you need to shoot partly on a location and also for a few days in studio, its probably going to make sense to do it all here.
