There is a fair selection of military costume available and manufacturing is very cheap

Thailand has a huge Textile industry and is well known its excellent and cheap tailoring - it is the ideal place to get large runs of costumes made whether you are shooting here or not. The best way to do this is often to bring (or send) an original item to copy.

There are pretty good general costume services but rental is rather limited (to mostly Thai historical costumes) although some military costume and items like Vietnam era webbing can be found here.

A wide selection of fabrics are available and the huge number of shopping malls mean that contemporary clothing is rarely a problem. Very able pattern cutters and seamstresses as well as on set crew will not be a problem and purpose fitted out wardrobe buses/motor-homes are also available.
